Tumse hi...

A song sounding bit complecated at first. Tried to look for a potential to mold this in my own way, as I normally do for many easy songs. I look at this as a good way to gauge progress as a noob vocalist.

Song goes like this.
Na hai yeh pana
Na khona he hai

[Neither this is called "gaining" ...nor this is called "losing"]

Tera na hona, jaane
Kuyn hona he hai

[Donno "why" your not being with me..may b just had to be[<--aisa hi hona tha] ---- but even in your absense, i feel like u r still there.--]

Tum Se Hi din hota hai
Surmayi shaam aati hai

[The day starts with you
the musical evening comes with u]

Tum Se Hi Tum Se Hi [With you and only with you]

Har ghadi saans aati hai
Zindagi kehlati hai
Tum Se Hi Tum Se Hi

[I breath every second (but it doesn't mean I am alive), but breath becomes life when ur with me..
With you and only with you]

========================01:50min============

Aankho mein aankhe teri [my eyes in your eyes (I'm seeing things the way you see them)]
Bahoo mein Bahe teri [My arms are in your arms]
Mera na mujh mein kuch raha [I have nothing of my own left in me any more]
Hua kya [Not sure what has happened to me]

Bathon mein bathein teri [I'm talking the way you talk]
Rathe saogathe meri [My nights are filled with your thoughts as gift]
Kuyn tera sab yeh ho gaya [Why have "all" of mine become "yours"?]
Hua kya [Not sure what has happened to me]

Mein kahin bhi jaata hun
Tum Se Hi mil jatha hun

[Whereever I go,
I keep meeting with you in thoughts]

Tum Se Hi Tum Se Hi [With you and only with you]

Shor mein khamoshi hai
[There is a silence in noise]
Thodi si behoshi hai [And a bit of euphoria]
Tum Se Hi Tum Se Hi [With you and only with you]

========================03:00min============

Aadha sa vaada kabhi
Aadhe se zyada kabhi

[Half a promise sometimes
And a bit more than that sometimes]
Jee chahe karlu is tarah
Wafa ka

[Heart feels like having just this type of
relationship, honestly]

Chhode na chute kabhi
Tode na toote kabhi
Jo daaga tum se jud gaya
Wafa ka

[A "thread" that never ends
One that never breaks,The connection between you and me that has come to be, of a
relationship]

Mein tera sarmaya hun [I'm filled with you(and you with me)]
Jo bhi mein ban paya hun
Tum Se Hi Tum Se Hi
[What ever I have become*, it is
because of you and only you j]

Raaste mil jate hai
Manzile mil jati hai
Tum Se Hi Tum Se Hi

[paths and destinations do get because of you and only you]

Na hai yeh pana
Na khona he hai

[Neither this is called "gaining" ...nor this is called "losing"]

Tera na hona, jaane
Kuyn hona he hai

Tere naam - Part

A small part from a taken challenge. This work is still in progress. A very demanding song from a noob vocalists point of view. Sounds realatively easy but puts a challenge of breathcontrol, emotions, occasional vibratoes, joining phrases skillfully .. all together.. a challenge for avocalist. A fantastic learning experience. Fun.

Spoken Words...

Some new concept listened to several times but had rarely thought of with perspectives of possible artistic usage.
As per wikipedia, Spoken word is a form of literary art or artistic performance in which lyrics, poetry, or stories are spoken rather than sung. The category of spoken-word that is often done with a musical background is performance poetry.
Here's an example.

I got this sample from a TV Show aired on Oct 31 2008.
Wish to tryout such innovative new ideas this year.
